Retired lieutenant general David Melcher succeeds Marion Blakey; career includes U.S. Army and aerospace executive roles Melcher Retired three-star general David Melcher is the new CEO of $18 million-revenue Aerospace Industries Association, effective June 8. He replaces Marion Blakey, who left Arlington, Va.-based AIA last month to run Rolls-Royce North America.
