Economic strain forces more staff cuts The National Association of Federal Credit Unions announced on Oct. 2 the elimination of three full-time positions in an effort to ensure the group’s financial strength. Additionally, the group plans to eliminate one part-time position at the end of the year and one position currently vacant. The job cuts, said a NAFCU media release, were support positions and will not affect any of the group’s programs, benefits or services that members receive.
