Search Expected at Nat’l Civic League A search to replace former president Christopher Gates at the National Civic League is expected to begin shortly. The NCL, founded in 1894, is a Denver, Co.-based organization dedicated to strengthening citizen democracy. Gates was with the NCL for over two decades and served as president for 11 years.
