New boards of directors take shape at ASAE

Three association leaders are slated to take new roles on ASAE and ASAE Foundation’s board of directors later this year, the organization recently announced. Joe McGuire, president of the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers and current chairman-elect of ASAE board, will become chairman on Sept. 1. Senior Staff Appointments: June 2012

Government affairs Michael Crye will step down as EVP, technical and regulatory affairs, of the $14M-revenue Cruise Lines International Association, the travel industry news website TravelPulse recently reported. Crye previously was president of the International Council of Cruise Lines, which merged with CLIA in 2007. He also is a former U.S. Coast Guard captain.
