Overlapping trade groups merge

At a glance, the Information Technology Association of America and the Government Electronics and Information Technology Association seem similar. Both groups represent a similar line-up of tech companies, and much of their membership, programs and services overlap. WorldatWork opens DC office

WorldatWork, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based association of human resource professionals, opened a new public policy office and conference center in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 1. The new location, at 1100 13th Street NW, will host 40 educational and training sessions beginning this month. Additionally, public policy staff will articulate the organization’s position on human resources issues to policy-makers.
