EIA’s Future Uncertain

The Board of Governors that oversees the Electronic Industries Alliance may vote in July to reorganize or dismantle the $4 million revenue organization. Industry leaders close to the high-tech trade group said all options are on the table at the next meeting, scheduled July 19 and 20 in Arlington, Va. Dissolution of the organization is one of the options open, said Peter McCloskey, former CEO of EIA and current CEO of the National Science and Technology Education Partnership, an affiliate of EIA.
