Office space rental rates in D.C. continue upward trend

Despite an economic downturn, the Washington, D.C. office space market is robust and demand is high The Washington, D.C. office rental market is hot and getting hotter, according the latest regional report from CB Richard Ellis, a dominant commercial real estate services firm. The report, covering the second quarter of 2008, shows the average asking rental rate for office space in all areas of the city is $50.84 per square foot, up slightly from the first quarter when it was $50.38.
