Pandemic risk insurance bill runs into industry skepticism

The creation of a federal pandemic risk insurance program continues to be a priority for associations that have seen event insurance options dwindle following COVID-19, but insurers have concerns about proposed legislation that would make the program a reality.The latest iteration of the Pandemic Risk Insurance Act, or PRIA, was introduced in November by Rep.
