Procurement executives, academics start federal acquisition organization

Supply chain and procurement executives announced the launch of the Federal Acquisition Innovation and Reform Institute, a nonpartisan think tank advocating reform in the government procurement and acquisition arena. FAIR president and board co-chair Raj Sharma said the group will work with policymakers and leaders from a range of industries to make procurement not just focused on compliance and fraud reduction, but also on best industry practices, strategic thinking and new ideas.
