Most big-spender associations trim spending during the second quarter of 2011, but NAR doubles lobbying expenditures The National Association of Realtors threw $7.1 million into lobbying the federal government during the second quarter of 2011more than twice what it spent during the first quarteras it weighed in on issues ranging from flood insurance to repealing health care reform.
