Red Cross kicks off CEO search, budget deficit reported

As the national office of the American Red Cross embarks on their fourth CEO search in nine years, the $5.8 billion charity is facing a $200 million plus budget shortfall and potential staff reductions. The Red Cross again retained executive recruitment firm Heidrick & Struggles to replace recently deposed CEO Mark Everson.
