First leader of America's Natural Gas Alliance to leave Feb. 28; says she plans to return to her roots in litigation communications Hopper Regina Hopper, the first president and CEO of America's Natural Gas Alliance, has resigned from the group effective Feb. 28. "I was hired to build an effective and powerful advocacy organization with strong fiscal management," Hopper said in a statement. "By all accounts we have achieved these important objectives.
