Rehr leaves broadcasters group amid legislative upsets

David Rehr resigned Wednesday from the National Association of Broadcasters, ending months of speculation over whether he would leave the trade group as members grew increasingly unhappy with its legislative losses in recent years. Rehr will continue to serve at the NAB for one month during a transition period, according to a statement by the group. Janet McGregor, NABs chief operating and financial officer, will serve as interim leader while the association conducts an executive search.
