Restaurant association restructures, promotes its COO

Employees in key roles at the National Restaurant Association have been asked to reapply for new positions in a massive reorganization effort at the trade group. The upheaval largely affects staff in the associations public policy team, including the communications and lobbying departments, which are being combined, a process that officially began in January. Several new positions have been created, and a spokesperson for the group said current staffers will be able to apply for several of the new roles before they are opened to the public.
