One of the most influential predictors of CEO pay is the size of an organization measured by its revenue. However, CEO Update research, based on the latest figures released by the Internal Revenue Service, shows there are plenty of seven-figure CEO paychecks at smaller associations. Helen Darling, president of the $8.8 million-revenue National Business Group on Health, saw her paycheck rise 82 percent in 2012 to $1.4 million, thanks to $764,110 in bonus pay.
