Former Kansas governor will step down at the end of 2016 after leading American Trucking Associations for 14 years The American Trucking Associations is searching for its next CEO, and has just hired recruiting firm Spencer Stuart to help find a successor to Bill Graves. Graves has led ATA since January 2003, after completing his second term as governor of Kansas. He informed the association last year of his intention to retire at the end of 2016.
