Top advocate for coal, mining industry, to retire end of 2019

National Mining Association CEO Hal Quinn has fought to shore up struggling coal industry, scoring recent legislative, regulatory wins Quinn Hal Quinn announced April 3 that he will retire from the National Mining Association at the end of the year, after 11 years as CEO.
