Two major IT groups in talks to merge lobby, programs

Complementary tech organizations are poised to share research and advocacy resources on behalf of members, eliminating redundant activities. After a year of speculation, AeA, formerly known as the American Electronics Association and the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), are in talks to merge their respective groups and programs.
