United Way International CEO Christine James-Brown steps down after three years of service to lead the Child Welfare League of America. UWI Board member Teresa Hall Bartels appointed to succeed as CEO. Bartels, a UWI board member since 2000, will occupy the number one spot at the Alexandria-based organization on March 15. James-Brown starts her new position as President and CEO, April 2. James-Brown replaces Shay Bilchik, who ended his term with the DC-based organization February 16.
