Weston to leave nurses association

Weston Marla Weston has announced that she will leave her post as leader of the $85M-revenue ANA Enterprise on Jan. 1, 2018. Weston was named CEO of the American Nurses Association in 2009. The Silver Spring, Md., group, has since integrated with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Nurses Foundation. In a statement by the association announcing Weston's resignation, ANA Enterprise credits her with leading the new umbrella entity "through bold transformative changes" and guiding it into new strategic directions.
