Graham was executive board president of the National Capital Area Council when he died in January after a battle with cancer. He was an Eagle Scout and started his nonprofit career working for the Boy Scouts. The NCAC honored him as the 2015 Citizen of the Year. Graham had also been chair of the gala.
Kuhn was selected for the award because of his commitment to scouting and for rallying support from the downtown Washington, D.C., community.
Other association honorees at the virtual gala include Katherine Lugar, CEO of the American Beverage Association, who will receive the Hospitality Good Scout Award; and Mike Sommers, CEO of the American Petroleum Institute, who will receive the Energy Good Scout Award.
Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, will give the keynote address and receive the Citizen of the Year Award.
