Forum 400 is a membership organization that brings together the highest-performing life insurance advisers to share strategies and ideas, according to its website. The forum's board of directors recently voted to explore merging with Finseca, the association announced Thursday.
Finseca itself was formed in 2020 out of the merger of two associations, the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting and GAMA International. In a statement, CEO Marc Cadin said his group was "humbled by the overwhelming support we're seeing from the profession and encourage others to join our movement."
"The work being done by Finseca to reunify the profession so that we can advance financial security for all is more important than ever," he said.
Forum 400, which describes itself as a think tank, holds an annual meeting as well as a yearly, one-day virtual event. The group also provides year-round education through regular virtual sessions led by members and experts.
"The Forum 400 task force believes that Finseca is the perfect fit that will help us deliver greater value, more effectively so that we can grow our membership," said Vince D'Addona, board president of Forum 400.
