Association management firm SmithBucklin announced Thursday the company had acquired 360 Live Media, a marketing and experience design agency focusing on association events.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but, under the arrangement, 360 Live Media will become a wholly owned subsidiary of SmithBucklin. The agency will continue to operate out of its Washington, D.C., offices with founder and CEO Don Neal remaining at the helm.
"We want to be the go-to resource for associations seeking innovation, reimagination, and big ideas that deliver results," SmithBucklin CEO Matt Sanderson said in a statement. "Live events are critical to so many associations because of the significance of event-related revenue and because events bring association brands to life."
360 Live Media partnered with ASAE in 2017 to relaunch the association's annual Springtime Expo as the Xperience Design Project. The company's other clients include American Fuel and Chemical Manufacturers, Association for Accessible Medicines and Consumers Bankers Association, among others.
"Associations are more important than ever in terms of their contributions to commercial progress, professional development, industry advocacy, and community engagement," Neal said in a statement. "SmithBucklin and 360 Live Media are committed to helping them become even more vital and influential moving forward."
