Executive recruitment assignments were higher again in first quarter; more openings in nonprofit sector go to search consultants Search firm activity in the first quarter maintained a brisk pace, reports the Association of Executive Search Consultants. In a survey of more than 1,300 recruiters, new search assignments increased in all sectors except the financial industry, led by a 25 percent surge in recruiter-led searches at professional services organizations.
