Employees in key roles at the National Restaurant Association have been asked to reapply for new positions in a massive reorganization effort at the trade group. The upheaval largely affects staff in the associations public policy team, including the communications and lobbying departments, which are being combined, a process that officially began in January. Several new positions have been created, and a spokesperson for the group said current staffers will be able to apply for several of the new roles before they are opened to the public.

John Coster joined the National Community Pharmacists Association as senior vice president of government affairs. Coster most recently worked in policy and federal affairs for Rite Aid Corp. as a vice president.
